In the world of natural cosmetics, certifications like COSMOS , Ecocert , and NATRUE are becoming increasingly well-known. And rightly so: they guarantee that a product has passed rigorous audits, meets sustainability criteria, and respects both the planet and your skin.
But it's also important to know that:

These are private certifications , not public ones.

They have a high economic cost , both per product and per audit.

And they don't always reflect the whole truth about a product.
Today we want to tell you why, even though we don't yet have these certifications, our transparency comes first .
🧪 What do these certifications guarantee?

COSMOS (endorsed by Ecocert, BDIH, Soil Association, ICEA, etc.) requires that at least 95% of the ingredients be natural and that a minimum of 20% of the total product be organic (10% in rinse-off products).

NATRUE classifies products into three levels: natural, natural with organic ingredients, and organic. For the highest level, it requires ≥95% organic ingredients over natural ingredients.

They all audit every formula, every supplier, and every process .
And that's all well and good. But…
